BEAUTIFUL song:) to me it is about two people struggling to make a relationship work. the woman needs the man but he always seems to be busy with work and he seems to be depressed so has turned to drink and being alone. He wants to make it work but is struggling and both of them do things to each other they regret just because they're troubled and going through a tough time. He tries to cover the pain by smiling but inside he's broke and 'close to tears'. they try and make things better by talking and sitting up drinking, until they final feel like they know each other properly 'for the first time.' also he knows how hard life is but he doesn't want his girlfriend to give up on him and leave. |

To me this song is a about 2 friends who no longer see each other who were once close. "where were you while we were getting high" shows the person is asking their friend why they wern't around for all the good times and that they have missed a lot. "how many special people change" is like he is thinking how he no longer knows or understands his friend as he doesn't see him and he is upset. "someday you will find me, caught beneath a land slide" could mean it is too late for his friend to come back because he will already be 'crushed' from the pain of losing him, so if he returns he will be a broken man. "but you and I will never die" gives hope that they could still be friends as there will always be something special between them. AMAZING song. AMAZING band! |

LOVE this song! I think it is about a person needing somebody to stick by them in life as we don't know what will happen next, but he needs this person with them to get through. "nobody knows, the way it's gunna be" -very true! he sounds troubled -"made a meal and threw it up on sunday, i got a lot of things to learn" like he cannot cope on his own. "my heart will never be your home" suggests he can't commit to this person but needs them in his life. |

| to me this song is about moving on from somebody who has left you. the person who has left meant a lot to you but this song is about getting over this. if they really mean anything they will come back in time so you should not worry and move on in life. you will 'see them someday'. amazing song! | |
