This song is about having a bad relationship with someone and moving on. I'm standing here on the ground, the sky up above wont fall down (not the end of the world, I'll live). I see no evil in any direction (I'm good and free of hate). Don't change for you, don't change for me (I'm gonna be happy regardless what you choose to do). I found a love I had lost (self love). Execution of bitterness, message received loud and clear (you were an a** to me and you have issues, I get it). I know this song was inspired by one of them having a bad relationship and moving on from it. It could've been a relationship with a family member or a girlfriend, but it is amazingly simple yet very effective. A really great song. It's like they're saying just love yourself and let the hate go back to its source. |
