This is the "Oh you only know that song because of blahblahblah so you can't be a real fan" argument. It doesn't matter where people came across the Pillows, the fact that their music was coupled with a fantastic anime show (People rarely fail to include it when speaking of the best anime shows ever.) is a good thing. Jose Gonzalez is a great musician, but no one knew him until they heard his music in an advert for TVs. What's important is that the music is awesome and people recognize that. Don't get angry that they tie it back to the experience that has made it so meaningful for them. Yes the pillows have been around for much longer than the show, and maybe a lot of their new found fans maybe some people only like the songs that featured in FLCL. I don't think the pillows would be as upset as some of you on here sound. Just enjoy being Little Busters. |

Surprised there aren't any comments on this song. Its a really great song. In the third verse I believe its. "Midst a battery of sticks and twigs" Think this about someone who has lost themselves, and their purpose and is now "making matchsticks to start other men's fires." |

I think its partially about people who difficult things and try to make it look as if its just natural or they didn't work for it. They have the "feathered hand" trying to make float. "Grip the crown like a winner, Pretending like a beginner" |
