I met Dave last year in Vegas, he played a couple of songs before sound check and talked to a handful of us. He played I'll Back You Up, but preferenced it was a girl that "BROKE HIS HEART, I MEAN BROKE IT". Thats him verbatim. I think he refernces in Big Whisky in Funny the way it is, "someones broken heart becomes your favorite song". He was absolutely passionate when talking about it. Wish everyone was there. |
