is it just me or did Katy Perry and Pink reunite to write a song about same theme, on same season? I liked this song, the beats, the lyrics, THE VIDEO! God.. it's kinda strong for many people out there... I liked how they turned the tables about the way we treat animals... Pink killing that Torero was AWESOME... I've gotta admit the women being milked out to feed that little cow was... bizarre, and pretty original. So Ironic and metaphoric. The part where she was on bed with all kind of religious people was strongly cool. lol I just lol'd. the video looks pretty cool to me, though I don't really think it fits much with the song itself. ummm.. |

I've always thought of this song as a problem from the man she was dating or well, she used to love.. She discovers how selfish and arrogant he really is as the relationship is on the go... She really likes him but she knows that attitude on him is just crap... "baby we're done.. if I could I'd change everything cuz I can't forget you though you don't believe me" ALSO.. the line "do you really think I'm made of stone baby, cmon!!" it's like he was expecting she was like him and think the same way he does. BABY, it's wrong... :/ I love this track. I wonder why Shirley rarely sang this live.... I think this is the song Shirley's more stuck at. I read somewhere this song was so important for shirley.. cuz reminds her of an ex. |

I love the song but I don't really find who to blame.. I figure out two friends who were so united and all.. but then.. a mistake, an error... changed everything... It's like an inconcluse guilt, "you're losing a friend... I'm losing a friend" .. ummm... I could think at first, she was the one to blame.. "I'd rather just die, go to hell and crawl back than let you go" but then she says... "look at you.. look what you're wasting" and turns the table again. I'm in love with this cuz something like this actually happened to me... I used to blame my friend.. but then, I realized it didn't matter at all.. and then I wondered if I was doing the right thing. however,, none of both tried to do a thing later and... I lost a friend. She lost a friend. :/ |

In my humble opinion, of course, the song's about the good things you find in bad things. It's about letting you know that being sad is also enjoyable. She's only happy when it rains, when every single thing goes complicated and also likes to hear to sad, sad songs... She finds on sadness a happy mood. :') ironic and PERFECT. I think the song invites you to don't feel that bad when you're already screwed up at all. |

Well, well.. I think this is about teenage love... innocent love between teens, and they want to be together whatever people would say, think or do about it. "we're the survivors" relating to the hard times they've got as teenagers. All the obstacles they've gone thru to keep their love alive and going. It's a beautiful song. :') I discovered this in the movie Big girls don't cry. Awesome film, btw. greetings! |
