In my opinion, Manson is making fun of society just the way he does in most of his songs. What he's saying is similar to what he was saying in the song "This Is The New Shit" He is saying that all we want is sex and popularity. We follow the media and let it control us, our brains, our country.. everything. "Babble babble bitch bitch rebel rebel party party sex sex sex and dont forget the violence." see how the songs have similar meanings? They are both saying that we want something that we have no idea about.. we just want whatever is new. "Do we get it? no. Do we want it? yeah." however, this is the new shit differs slightly because it's talking more about how people are posers and pretend to be his fans yet they have no idea what he is all about.. It seems i've summed up a different song here.. but oh well. just a comparison :) |
