hahahah @ all these really elaborate descriptions of a relationship.
I think it's pretty much stripped down letting go of stuff. To me, it was like; you can forget everything with me, for this moment. Escaping the expectations and the false demeanor you might have. "Sure for the first time you're wearing the right clothes" makes me think about accepting that you are who you are, but stripping it down even further than that with some sexual connection(idek).
And the last verse, I guess, means that at some point in life you already messed up, or you're regretting what you're about to do in trying to live your life. But the feeling is so strong, you can't stop.
And yes, I guess it's represented by a friend with sexual tension that can finally be expressed.
Live It Out was a great album, and the song LIO was great too. These two songs hold a lot of meaning to me because of someone I knew once. |

| Céline Dion – Then You Look At Me Lyrics

Aww, I've been hearing this song for like all my life(or most of it), since my family listened to Celine Dion. I'm surprised this didn't get more comments. I finally saw Bicentennial Man today and it's so sad, but beautiful. To me, the song is about searching in life for meaning, and living life, however long, to the fullest. And that one person reassures you and you stop looking. In the movie, Andrew, the robot, goes and looks for other robots of his kind to find out his destiny, only to fall in love with Little Miss's granddaughter. It seems pretty straightforward. |
