This song is so beautiful. "Youre a mirror I cannot avoid" Sometimes when you have been with someone for a long time you see yourself in that person. Maybe he still saw this person a lot, but couldn't speak to her. I agree that its about drugs, but even more than that. I think its about someone he cared for deeply that has has been stolen from him or just doesnt want to be with him for some reason. He wants to help her so much that it hurts, but she won't let him .
