'Waiting for the 7:18' came before 'Biko'. Blackberries and Blueberries are not the same. Biko is about losing someone to cancer. This one is about everyday life. Or that's at least what I think. |

Yeah Im curious about those lines as well. But I think it means like; we know that 'religion' is untrue, but we're blind men; we trust that what is being 'shown' by religious groups as true, really is. |

I know your post is from 2005, and you probably don't even remember your login (so you won't see my reply, but that's okay). I like your view of the song. But you wrote "the armagedon theory of the Christians" - don't forget nearly every religion has some kind of armageddon to it. |

@unrelated: Oh my, oh my! Does it get any better? An offended religious redneck, what joy it brings me! Listen up shitface! Your so-called "God" is one big lie, and if you don't believe me; go open your (third) eye! It's all stated there in the rye, oh go see if you DARE try! (Anything else, I need not to add).
P.s. Im sorry but I do; you made my night "unrelated". |

Fred39 and PhoenixXx, love your comments on this song. Laughed so hard while reading both of them. And The Numpty; fucking spot on! (This means read his/her comment on the song for info). And Phadedjaded, the fuck are you talking about? Silly? This song is perfect for TDS, and it's place is rightfully earned. Without it there would be no ending to TDS at all, it needs this song to tie it all together, or at least another song to end the story differently.
Great song, fantastic album, amazing & brilliant artist! |

@punkedyou (from 2002!): it's always easier to believe in God. As Devil_Chicca was kinda saying: God is your guide in life, someone who has a plan for you while you're here, and when you're dead you'll life forever together with everyone you've ever know. It's a "nice" thought, but giving up God is the only way to live life to it's fullest (even though Trent might not think so -> listen to TDS; killing God makes the protagonist becomes a machine, I guess Trent found out the hard way). |
