Camille – Pour Que L'amour Me Quitte Lyrics 15 years ago
Here's my translation if anyone's interested...it's not quite literal but this is how I understand the song anyway. I feel like it's about someone after failed relationship trying to make the left over love leave her, as if it could just pass through the window by her bed. She could be depressed and sleeping all the time, without taking the time to dry her hair. It seems to me like she feels sick with love, and trapped as if in a hospital. Her dream about could be a metaphor for the relationship, the tropics being the state of paradise/happiness of good times. Just one take on it, anyway.

fallen asleep
hair wet
arms folded
found with the window open
air
through the window

to let the love leave me

while I was sleeping I dreamed
of thousands of lianas
Bagan,
Bagan

let the love leave me

woken up
pale light
hospital walls
to love too much isn't normal
a heart so badly
hooked,
unhooked

let the love leave me
love
