wowowowowowow. this song is brilliant!! i think it is about when ben moody, one of her former band members left, cause he said that he left cause of "creative differences". "I can't change who I am not this time, I wont lie to keep you near me and in this short life, there's no time to waste on giving up my love wasn't enough" she couldn't change her music style, or who she was, and she couldn;t lie for him, so he left. that is just what i think, but i think i got near the mark. |

my opinion is that she is terrified of her own mind, and is hating what she is seeing. or she is remembering her sister, who died at the age of 3. i don't know. i really don't know. Amy has a talent for articulating a story so well, that the true meaning is hard to see, but still right in front of your nose! some of her songs are heartbreaking though... my immortal,hello,tourniquet,whisper, snow white queen... |

| so sad, this song is about when amy lee found out that her 3 yr old sister had died. amy was only 6 yrs old. Amy lee can't sing this song at concerts, cause she says she'll go into mental breakdown. amy lee can sing, and she can project feelings and thoughts in such a way, that you just have to listen to it again and again. best band ever. best singer ever. best songs ever. | |
