i love how his songs are all pretty straightforward in terms of lyrics, but that makes them honest and beautiful. usually i like the more complicated lyrics (yup, the emo ones xP) and most "artists" with simple lyrics sound fake to me, and cliche, and you hear the same thing with every crappy artist, and they piss me off. Christofer is pretty much the only artist i can think of who writes simple lyrics that i can appreciate. I respect him and love his music soooooooo much. its like when he writes simple lyrics, THOSE are the lyrics that all the other cliche radio artists are trying to copy. everyone wants their words to mean something but christofer is the only one i've heard whos actually made that happen. <3 |

this is genius.... omg im joking! well, kinda, cos i mean, christofer is brilliant, but yeah this song is direct from the soul of the joint he was smoking when he came up with this and i mean that in the best way possible this song makes me laugh hysterically every time i hear it, my friend and i sing it to each other randomly hes sooooo adorable !!! xD <3 |

| i just think i should point out how amazing this band is, and that they really should get even more attention (: its rare to find a band a band that has meaningful lyrics and sounds edgy too. most of my emotionally heavy stuff is alot more indie-acoustic, which i absolutely love, but Hawthorne Heights is more catchy that most of that and more upbeat too, instead of depressing you with slow stuff it just gives you solid great music and the lyrics make you think, they wont kill you unless you let them. | |

my favorite part is deffinately this part..: No more ghosts or memories to hold me back A fresh start is all I have ever asked I watch my body slowly turn from blue to black And on and on and on Some times it hurts the most to be who you are You can change your mind, you can't change your heart To find the end you gotta know where to start And on and on and on the rest of the song is really good too, but this part speaks to me the most, and what this means to me is alot more significant than the rest... its just really special to me, im moving to a new state soon which means i get a fresh start, away from all the people who have watched me grow up and make a ton of mistakes, and im in the mindset of trying to heal all of the rough patches once and for all, so i have no regrets when i get to my new home. yeah, i find myself listening to this song alot.. (: |
