I'd like to think this song is about a gay Leo on the Zodiac; a party animal and sex maniac. A charismatic, energized outsider with a taste for every kind of mischief, and more than the occasional dalliance with power bottoming: "Jack be nimble, jack be quick, jack jump over the candlestick..." And yes, pyromania, but only insofar as that he likes to watch unsatisfying relationships go up in smoke, and is onto the next guy. Eh? |
