| Kings of Leon – Radioactive Lyrics | 15 years ago |

love kings of leon, in my opinion, the song is discussing the importance of going back to your roots and what you know and are familiar with. The lyrics are also suggesting the importance of having an influence on the next generation and how telling and sharing stories of the past can have a strong impact on how they create a life for themselves after the previous generation is gone. And even when differences occur, it is always important to draw on your own past experiences. Also, I think the title is interesting to comment on, "radioactive" could have several interpretations, to me though, it could mean that the water (not so much literally as figuratively) "from where you came from" is "contaminated", if you will, by your past and history of where you are from. I also LOVE the video by the way, and I am definetly not a fan of music videos at all I think they usually ruin songs instead of enhancing them, absolutely not the case with this video. LOVE KOL and hope they continue creating amazing songs that are so unique from other popular bands these days. |
