| Mumford & Sons – Dust Bowl Dance Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Remind me again, when was Ireland's dust bowl? Because America had an entire decade called "the dirty thirties" referring to the massive dust storms from 1930 to ~1940 that plagued almost the entire country. | |

i love that tyler says "this is me" right before going into that rush-esque drum solo thing. I'm sure neil peart was big influence for him. |

| Barenaked Ladies – Am I The Only One? Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| i can see that you might think its a solo song but if you listen closely, Jim is playing his bass throughout, and there is a faint shaker in the background. also the chorus includes backing vocals. nevertheless, this song is great if you need to set the mood at an open mic night or any acoustic venue. | |

oh...just had a thought about this song. perhaps its about a couple who had just had a baby, but the mother dies during the birth: Said when you were you born Your daddy took you home He whispered to the ground ever softly Left the shovel on the stone ^(visiting mother's grave?)^ i dont know the significance of the name "melon bend", but parts of the song hint at a father's struggle to raise a child without a mother: I swore on your bed I will leave her never Until my bones give up or maybe i'm way off... |

i love reese's cynical views about america, and this song is just one of his many that touch the subject. he has some really great insights about the pitfalls of our society. |

this song doesn't really make five iron look sinful. it's clearly a satire of american society. these words are all sarcastic. fif's humor is great. awesome song. |
