I've always thought about this song being about a hate crime against a gay teen. I really don't know why, besides the fact that the first time I heard this song was while I was writing a play concerning that, and the music video suggests that this is definitely about someone being killed by a group of teens. But whatever it's about, I love this song. btw, does anyone actually know what a 'flash boy' is? I thought it might be a slang term or something, but couldn't find anything. |
