Unfortunately, this song always brings out intense feelings of sadness. Though, at the same time, it makes me completely joyful. When my first girlfriend broke up with me, I had this song on repeat for hours. I'm not sure why, but it brought me sorrow and helped me to move on. Later, when I broke up with that same girl, this song was once again on repeat for hours. Now, whenever the thought of separating from someone I love comes into my head, this song isn't far behind. It be because of how this song is about what has been said by many people so far: a sort of rebirth, and regret / remembering the past. It's very confusing, but it always helps me. I'm glad my emotions are attached to such a good song. |

I just found out this song last week. What really attracted me was the melody and it was catchy and really easy to listen to. I looked into the lyrics and now like the song much more. It seems like it can be interpreted in so many different ways and can have a lot to do with your personal situation and how you can relate to it. I interpreted it as a love story where he is simply elated to be with her and they're spending one more night together before he leaves to go somewhere in the morning (I assumed it was a trip). |
