I love the song and I think it's about child/youth suicide due to discrimination or bullying and I also think the lyrics are "What god would DAMN a heart?" but that's just me anyway the song is great and I love the album |

the media doesn't talk about it because the general population lost interest and i think this song speaks on that saying the help never came because people lost interest and no one is fretting over it anymore thinking "oh its no big deal, the news hasnt said anything so it must be all better now" |

The first part seems to refer to Katrina:
"The crescent city sleeps/While giants in the sky/preparing to unleash"
Because Hurricane Katrina caught us (I llive in NO) completely off guard since we all thought it was just going to dissipate after it hit Florida. The second part is quite obviously referring to the oil spill but the first part stuck out from that so I thought I'd mention. |

No offense but I think the lines are "kissing the ground as we all fall from grace" and "'Cause the struggle goes on even when you're not there" just thought I'd help you out. This song is obviously that the world around us is collapsing and we don't even notice or take time to care and instead just go about our lives thinking it'll all even out like it always seems to do. On a side not, human beings might be animals of perseverance but there comes a breaking point. I also think the line "Neutrality means that you don't really care|Cause the struggle goes on even when you're not there" refers to the nations that have opted out of the war in the Middle East like Australia and France because they think that if they stop then they won't get hurt but really they're making it worse because they just sit on the sidelines and do nothing to stop it. |
