I think this may have something to do with the 1999 battle in seattle with the WTO. Makes some sense to me. |

I believe that in most of Jarrod's music, he is talking to himself. Or having a conversation with himself, rather. Heroin addiction is a possibility for the meaning of this song. Cause when I met Jarrod in August, he was completely sober. And according to his friend who I went to the bar with, he NEVER drinks, NEVER smokes, NOTHING! He could be in some type of recovery program. But who are any of us to really know.
@sexwax I think you have a great concept. I agree.
Regardless of all of it, this man is amazing and I could never ever get sick of his phenominal voice. |

This is one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. So much raw emotion. I fell in love with it the moment I heard it. I believe its about someone who is struggling with getting over a relationship....Jarrod is talking to himself. Everyday hurts.
For instance "In soothing peace of car alarms and cats in heat"
Sounds that are absolutely terrible are soothing compared to the his own thoughts tormenting him.
Idk... just my opinion |

I think this is about a relationship that he is in with a damaged person, and in the process of him trying to help, he is just becoming damaged as well |
