wow first comment that's effing awesome! i just heard this song (live, ugh) but it was pretty good quality and i think it's my new favorite jack's song, it's SO good. i'm just going to say it: this song is about leukemia? i think? or maybe he's going through a tough time...idk. maybe someone else is also going through an adversity and he/she told him all about it and he did vice versa and maybe they're talking each other through? i have no idea but it's a beautiful song. i love love love it.

wow i love this song so much for so many reasons. i think this song is pretty easy to interpret. he just wants to know what gets this girl off, b/c whatever he does, she just doesn't respond. i was reading his blog, and he said he let an 80+ lady listen to it, and she was all like "thank god there should be more songs about sex," someone should give this lady the bedroom talk, i think :) |

obviously this song is one of the ones about his battle with leukemia. he said that annie is a version of his wife's middle name, whose name is actually kelly or something. "annie i will make it" means he's gonna live, and that if he does go, then all she has to do is look up at the sky and think about him.

i don't think this whole song is just revolving around coke. not even the first part. i mean, at first it seems like that, but when you come to "you can breathe" that's when you realize this is one of andrew's songs about a girl. he might be saying he and the white stuff are meant to be, but he's most likely saying he's meant to be w/ the GIRL. those are just my thoughts, anyway. when i first heard this song, shortly after i heard of jack's, i took the meaning of the song literally and thought his gf who he thought was "the one" died in a car wreck right before his eyes, and that the two parts of the song are what happened prior to the wreck and then the aftermath, when he feels miserable w/out her. it could still be that, idk. but jeez, i love this song for life! it's my def all-time fave, i listened to it just now and i still feel the charm i had initially. i wish a guy would sing it to me. that sounds pathetic, but still. kind of sweet. :) |
