This song is amazing... "Shipwreck in a sea of faces" "Where the lost are finally found" I'm an outdoorsy loner pantheist, so this is just my expression. What I feel this song means is in the first verse is a lonely person craving adventure. "Dear friends in higher places, carry me away from here..." This could be literally speaking or not... In the end, this person finds a place where it doesn't matter if he's lonely, because in the end... the view is so beautiful and he's gotten so high up, that it just doesn't matter. I'M personally just saying this because since I love the outdoors, the "bird's eye view" would be worth everything to me. I'd do anything to live this song! :) |
