I'm starting to think that maybe the girl lives in New York.. A great song anyway! I just got my vinyl record : D oh and the line "How can one person be worth more than a thousand people knocking on his door?" probably means that he spent so much time around her when he got other people caring for him and he's not giving them as much attention as her. that's how i interpret the song.. |

the lyric says it all. no hidden messages. It's a song about being above the earth and thinking of life. The thought's you sometime have when you're thinking about life. The part "then i get off the plane" isn't a metaphor for something else. Luke actually wrote this song during a flight to New York in the flight bathroom for two hours, haha. He was obviously thinking about a girl and was "above the earth" and wondering if he was gonna see her again now that's he got off the plane. |

oh my! why hasn't anyone commented this amazing song? im so happy i looked at lukes twitter or else i would never have found this amazing song. it's a new band, that i discovered them this early makes me happier, you know that feeling you get when you find a new band and a few people knows about them, then when you hear other people listen you get like mad and go like "nooo their mine!!!!!!!!! MINE!" am i the only one?.. i really love music and like to keep it for myself. i hate it, when my favorite music turns up on radio. anyway this song is on the top of my top three best songs in the beginning of 2011! can't wait until the band gets signed! |

this is what I hear: You set yourself up again run back to New York City sell your new fame with eyes that could cut down the laws and the camera will one day shoot you down you're just a girl living inside of a dream be yourself and down to the beat of your drum, drum. Ooohh I should have asked you to be mine Ooohh, Yes, I think of it all the time And it's hard, hard, hard, hard picking up loose ends I met you when we were young Pass by the eyes But we looked backed at the song Tommy was a man who made our connections I still see him when I can, he always mentions you. They says those the fractions in our heart, lover is that tore us apart and i guess man she did you the worse (i dont know haha, thats what i hear) Ooohh, I should have asked you to be mine Ooohh, I still think of it all the time. And it's hard, hard, hard, hard picking up loose ends Come on x12 She was from a family of eccentrics of it was hard for her because they never ignored her and her father he loved to adore her i bet he still does whatever he can, whatever it does just to get her back to him. Ooohh I should have asked her to be mine Ooohh, I still think of it all the time. And it's hard, hard, hard, hard picking up loose ends |

i like the lines "A,B,C,D,E,F and G Oh that reminds me of when we were free" cause it's a way of saying: when we were in school life was so easy and they could be together "before life began to tear us apart" |
