| To me, this song is about a love between two people that can't exist at the moment. These two people were friends from "outer space", they were perfect for each other, but the conditions their love had to exist in made it impossible for it to happen at the moment. They know they can't be together at the moment, "the words aren't warm enough" meaning their thoughts and hopes and dreams that they share together aren't enough to keep the relationship together, so they have to wait. It's not goodbye because they have time. They need to wait until it's convenient enough for both of them to be together, as long as they have time, they'll be together in the end. | |
