"Because we'll suit your wounds" It should be: Because we'll sooth your wounds" And I'm not sure, but is the Radio Bit a phone call? And just to be all trivial, I'll point out that "And check if he's al right" should be "alright" This song is great though. |

Man, this is the song that I listen to when I think about a certain boy. [Don't make fun 'o meh!] But the guitars are so great in this, I'm amazed so few people know it! It had a lot of potential to be a hit, I think at least. |

I think this song is about how girls and young women are so pressured to look beautiful. Maybe Courtney's saying that not everyone's perfect, and as long as you have a nice personality, you're likeable! I felt an immediate connection to this song, before I knew the lyrics. Actually the reason I first listened to this song was because one of my friends kept bashing Courtney about how she "killed Kurt" (I don't think she really did...) so I decided to look up one of her songs. This was my first (and only) Hole song that I know, and I listen to it over and over and over... I still like Nirvana better, (no offence to anyone) but this band is a lot better than what I hear people saying. But in another note, I really hate it when I have to prove myself to people repeatedly because of the way I look, just because I don't buy the name brands (welcome to high school) This song is great, and this is coming from a hardcore Nirvana fan. |
