Yeah subject is ugly but I don't think, and I don't think that's what you meant neither, that the lyrics are so valuable at the first level. Obviously multi leveled with lines like ''If you're living in the past''. Maybe I'm wrong but sometimes I feel that this creepy rapist guy is those sweet misery blues mixed with this still sexually frustrated teenage misfit you mentionned feeling again a urge for a girl and just all the ugliness he has inside him. Just like Never Tell again wakes up inside us those shut feelings we never tell and could not only understood as a bully thing. Just cool how all these songs can be juxtaposed to ourselves and our own torments. |

Yeah the movie is inspired pf Dali's movie but it has more in it, doesn't it? The fact that Andalusia sounds a lot like And I lose ya seems important to me. Don't know about you but I want you to know, I am un Chien (which means dumbass to me) And I lose ya! So, in the way I see things, being obsessed with that girl but not able to get close to her enough and feeling incredibly too awkward for the world around me, suits pretty much what the songs makes me think of. Then debaser comes as the fact that I could have it all but the way I act just creates the opposite. Just my pick of it! |

Legit song about not knowing where you're going in a relationship. Like keeping on trying to date that girlfriend and not knowing if she's into you or just... Then I don't see the Blob like an illustration of J being to invasive in the relationship but as the impression that this shy J has of himself, thinking that he might not but a worthy person. Kind of the same deal than Get me, not able to stall that girl. That lack of confidence leads you to not concluding these dates he brought up, and all those words about him being a piece of shit sounds more like a Help! request to me. Shy words and brilliant and expressive riffs makes me believe that every flawed regular dude might have that crying soul craving for It. |

Seems like I had it wrong but I always herd : -Could you really rush out, far enough ? And even if that idea now seems ''pointless'' in that song, it made sense to me to point the idea that when you're confused and restless 'cause of a strong idea blinding you, you often wanna rush out of all that bullshit. Made sense to me since the guy actually fled in the wood to make the point about his life after all the losses he had, that question feel calming and pertinent to anybody who ever crept in that big moving world. |
