the song to me is about someone who has a mental illness or mental breakdown and the person is saying that they shouldnt confuse their scattered thoughts with doing the right thing.... i heard this song and i got really emotional because if it wasnt for this song, i would still be trying to understand y the guy im head over heels for is so mean to me when i ask him whats wrong. i realized that he may have a mental illness and he's in denial about it. he's a scatterbrain... very artistic and creative and very productve but then he hits a low, and he gets depressed, irritated and wants 2 push u away by being cruel. |

| to me i can relate to this song... I was deeply infatuated w/ this guy who I knew felt the same way about me but when we werent together, he acted cold. He always told me from the beginning that he had dreams he had to conquer and he couldn't let others get in the way (hint hint- me) but i went along w/ the ride b/c i loved being w/ him. but then i couldnt shake the feelings of failure w/ him, b/c like sade, i knew the ending already. so when i ended it w/ him, i finally confessed the untold truths about me, about him, about us and he couldnt say anything b/c then it was me who came out the strong one. | |
