That's exactly what I thought... It's so creepy how much this reminds me of things I've heard guys say, especially the part about "I wasn't even her first" As for it being from a man's point of view even though it's sung by Regina, she's said in interviews that she ofter writes songs from the point of view of someone completely different, and she has songs from men's point of view (Oedipus comes to mind, I can't remember any others). |
