Im not 100 percent sure but i think this song is talking about the band has come so far Gigantic proportions. Magnitude beyond our expectation. Just look at ourselves. They've come so far, but they never expected to get this far. Developing at a pace never thought with surrendering past for present. Time seems so important when you have the entire world waiting for you. there going so fast, and they've forgotten about their past maybe family and friends or dreams of becoming a police officer or firefighter (some kind of dream career) to become musicans as they are now, and the entire world waiting for you, i think it means all their fans are waiting for them (friends/family too prob) to become even bigger and better at what they do. Refused to be crippled by others around and become a colossus of your own. I think they had alot of haters, but they refused to be to hurt by their words and decided to keep playing and they become so big (colossus meaning large) Inside we all are this size. i think he means that, everyone can become big, greater than they ever thought, if they work hard and honestly. and the chorus could be to the fans/family/friends all the support they were given by people IDK if this is right,if im wrong atleast maybe some people will put up their ideas! |
