I really do love this song...simply the way it sounds has me hooked. But the more I've been thinking about that one line, the more I'm thinking the song isn't as nice as it sounds. "it couldn't be me and be her in between without you"- he and the other girl couldn't be what they are without first girl..they can't be "in between" as you are when you're "seeing" someone who isnt your significant other. He and the other girl would'nt feel the same way about each other if they weren't "in between"- not dating because he has a girlfriend and having to keep it a secret because he's cheating- it wouldn't be so great or exciting for them if they didnt have a reason to sneak around (i dont think they're in love, just boning). I think he does care for the first girl as he seems to be scared when he will lose her...but he doesn't seem to care enough to stop cheating. Not very nice but i still love the song! |
