Sometimes the best way to show expression is through music. Nine times out of ten it will take the words right out of your mouth. In Usher’s song “What’s a Man to do”, Usher sings about a man who is at conflict with himself because he is in love with two girls. He is not sure what one he wants because he is in love with both of them. Should he hide it? Who knows when like karma, it will get back to him and if it did he might end up with none. In the song he said, “I know you won’t believe it but girl I swear I got love for you”. This happens to people all the time. They may have mixed feelings but they know how they feel. This song is good for girls in their teens; you know the ones that think every guy is out to break their hearts because maybe not every guy is a player. They could just be in a sticky situation. So next time you don’t know what to do or need an answer about your love life just ask Usher he can tell you “What’s a Man to do”.

Since Drake and Rihanna are famous celebrities, they came together with a good creative song called “Whats My Name.” This song is about a girl who needs a boy that has her back, loves her, and treats her good. What makes this song so special is that it changes how men feel about women, and it shows how they treat women and how they should change their feelings towards women. In other songs, men artists portray women as their friend or love. An example of a song that portrays this is “Cuddy Buddy” by Trey Songz. People that are into Drake will understand the connection with the artist that made the song, the main idea, the point of view, and the background of the song. The main idea of “Cuddy Buddy” is to stay close to your special girl. For those of you who are unfamiliar with his work, he writes songs about girls, and how men are suppose to treat them right. Trey Songz message is good, but Drake’s lyrics and rhythms are what make him different. Drake’s lyrics are easier to understand, and he talks about different situations like money. He also can sing, and most people could either sing or rap, but he can do both. |
