That's an interesting comment. A few years back, Greg was interviewed on air byt the great NYC DJ Vin Scelsa. Early in Vin's career, he shepharded Townes around from show to show trying to keep Townes of trouble. Anyway, after Greg played Where is Maria, Vin played a recording of Quicksilver Dreams. So apparently Vin saw a connection too. Greg however didn't say anything about it. I had hoped it would lead to some conversation about Townes. I was curious if Greg was a fan. But nothing. |

This song is awesome! Hey, I'm 48. You never forget what being a teen was about. One of the great songs of teen angst and rebellion. And there are no shortage of those out there. Yes, his dad is abusive. Listen to the whole Sunset Tree album. Dance Music and Hast Thou Considered the Tetrapod (both great songs) make it completely clear. I just discovered this website. I love it. |
