Eve 6 – Pick Up The Pieces Lyrics 13 years ago
This version of the song sucks compared to their Sugi Tap version. I liked the Whoooaah Whoooooaah parts but the over-synthesized vocals detract from Max's natural talent. Also the lyrical changes to this song are horrible. "Wham, bam, Son of Sam" to "Wham, bam, fold the hand" aren't even close and Hand does not rhyme with Wham or Bam. "Your mood is always manic and I do suppose, when you hear this song you'll have a tantrum" sounds 10x better than "Your mood is always manic and I do suppose This masquerade’s become a habit". Also I know that this is a small change but taking out "up" after "But something’s disconnected" really causes an abrupt transition to the next line instead of a nice smooth one.

Loch Lomond – Wax and Wire Lyrics 15 years ago
This song is about more than death. It is about the beautification of death movement in the mortuary sciences. If you look at historical archeology and forensic anthropology books about mortuary behaviors of different societies you will notice a trend starting in the mid 19th century where people start to beautify their dead. In a sense they are making them look alive when they are actually dead to make it easier on their loved ones. When they refer to wax they are referring to the wax that they apply to the body to help preserve the skin until burial and to reduce foul odors...they apply makeup after the wax to make it look natural. The wire parts are because you have to wire the deceased's jaw shut as the jaw generally naturally drops at some point after death...depending on the perimortem position of the body. As for the hair from the back of the neck I have heard of morticians using hair from other parts of the body to fill in eyebrows. All of this is done by the person singing the song so he can make the persons face brand new.
