Ummm... well due to the couple of his songs that I've heard, it sounds like he is dependent on outside substances, or has been previously, he doesn't know how to manage his feelings sober?... but I only believe that because I'm in treatment now... I ran across his song "All summer," and I see it like staying away from alcohol all summer (drinkin' water, tryin' to keep your eyes dry) because being under the influence all of the time begins to take it's toll. I cried a lot more and was so hopeless right before I began sobriety, and drinking water instead of alcohol and making changes in my life has really kept my eyes a lot more dry than they used to be (less tears of anger, pain, sadness, and few here and there of joy, happiness, realizations) I love it, and I like to see it the way that I see it. :) It helps me maintain this happiness that I've never had before, and keep on wanting to learn how to socialize and give back to people what they have given me. I am so greatful. I just read the last comment from "earlymorningsingingsong" and... I obviously agree lol. Sweet. |
