I feel that the way in which one perceives the world speaks volumes about who that individual is. When we perceive something, in a way we are the object we are perceiving. In Buddhist teachings, it is said that the peceiver and the perceived are not two, but one.

Such a great song. This brought back memories of how I felt when I ended the relationship with my first love. Thoughts of how it all could have been a lie based on how expectations of "love" and how I couldn't let go because I felt there may have been so much to lose. |

I think it's really sad that everyone tries to throw drugs and hallucinogenics into every song/writing that has to do with leaving your body, being in another place etc. If you live your life in a certain way and allow yourself to pick up on certain things you definitely do not need to be under the influence of anything to leave your body. Amazing and true song. Everyone strives so hard to maintain a life they feel they should when none if it is necessary. All you need is within.
