Hmm... while im not knocking ur interpretations (just like the Bible, song lyrics can mean multiple right things to multiple different ppl), I see it as simply the story of an individual who was in love, went through a dirty breakup, one of those where u just argue so much u forget the root of the problem. Then he/she realizes after all the arguments & "walls" of isolation that had been built, that the walls could be "torn down" simply by standing up. Or, in other words, they could be ameliorated through the love they still have for one another... i try to do pretty liberal interpretations of things... |
