| Morrissey – The Boy Racer Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| A continuation of sorts from The Smiths track Sweet and Tender Hooligan. The same theme of jealously and disdain directed at some rotten shit who gets to do what he wants. | |
| Frank Zappa – Lonely Little Girl Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I think Frank is poking fun at the Doors here. This reminds me of "You're Lost Little Girl" off the Doors album, Strange Days. It would be, presumably, how high school girls are supposed to hear that song. | |
| Morrissey – All You Need Is Me Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| It's obvious that this song is about all the journalists/old fans who are always taking jabs at him, saying his new material is garbage - trying to take him down a peg for whatever reason. But I can't help but think specifically of half the posters on Morrissey-solo.com. There's always an abundance of people referring to him as a fat, old, hack has-been. They hate him, but seem to obsess over him. It's pathetic, and Moz is letting them know. | |
| Morrissey – Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
"Don't rake up my mistakes I know exactly what they are" Ode to Nico, I think - From 'These Days' - "Don't confront me with my failures, I had not forgotten them" |
