I can see it's about more than that, but the motivation to write the song presumably was inspired by him 'losing' his cat. "I bonded with the universe to take my life instead of hers" seriously!? I mean seriously!? It's a fucking cat!!!! I identified with this song because i thought it was about person he'd lost. A living breathing person, who can speak with you, who you can build a relationship with. I guess i must be someone without feeling then. Loved this band for so many years. Literary can't listen to them anymore. |

Please please please tell me this song is not about his fucking cat!? I feel ridiculous now for every having identified myself with this song. Can anyone post some evidence that it's about his cat? |
