thanks james, i dunno why either but its why i posted.... i think for someone who experiences something like it the song is so loudly clearly speaking to us and you probably are aware its not a common situation i've listened to this song a thousand times a thousand times because i'm in that situation... and i need to tell myself another day.. just believe just breathe right. whatever is holding them apart causes so much pain, but its eroding, its not as important to them as being together... and towards the end of the song she changes from saying just believe trying to almost force believing they will b together just to pass another day, to sayin i do believe, its not so hard to believe and it really isn't so hard to believe is it?? when you separate from someone you love truly love its not so hard to believe that you will be reunited i hope it happens for you. my girl has actually been communicating again and its a miracle for me. another day |

after listening to this a thousand more times and thinking... for me the meaning of the song rests in that one lyric you haunt my dreams, there's nothin to do but believe... just believe... and its a mantra for living through what shes obviously talking about |

i think this is about a relationship... pretty strongly in my opinion when it says "you haunt my dreams; nothin to do but believe" i think why is her dreams haunted by him and why would she repeat this mantra "just believe.. just breathe... another day"... i think its about a relationship that should not have ended... "i brouht you something close to me".. a reference of getting closer... "im used to it by now... another day... just believe" after all these lyrics to me its about a couple whos relationship ended... this girl is overwhelmed with the pain of the loss.... you hear it when she says 'you haunt my dreams, nothin to do but believe... just believe just breathe" she wants so badly for him to come back, so badly that its hard to do anything else, except believe it will happen, and keep breathing and living "another day"... maybe im hearing my own experiences in the song, but its resonating with me in that sense, i listen to the song so i can tell myself "im used to it by now" and to just believe, because for me if i didnt' believe we could fix things then, well i think the person who wrote the song had similar problem and this is cathartic (sp) for her... just breathe |
