love this song. to me, I interpreted the song slightly differently. the song really speaks to the helplessness you can experience when your feelings for someone is so strong, but it's a bit more haunting than just that. I think the line about the one he loves most who turns into a ghost, is the one he really loves. there seems to be an aching that is more than just for this person who is the "only one." it's almost like he's defeated that this person is the only one left, and the one he loves most is changed. |
