| Gary Numan – This Is New Love Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
"Picture the man when the heartbeat stops" This lyric was earlier used near the end of the unreleased track "Gangster Strut", a song recorded during the making of the album "Warriors". "Gangster Strut" later appeared as a bonus track titled "Nameless and Forgotten" on "Warriors" 2002 re-release. Some might call it laziness, but I think reusing lyrics here and there gives a little treat for the fans who are listening closely, and helps bind the themes into a cohesive whole. Something's wrong... ;) |

| I think this song is about our society and civilization in general. The status quo sustains itself, the powerful get more powerful, the weak become weaker. A song about just the government feels like it would be out of place on this album, with its epic, sweeping themes of nature vs. technology, the past vs. the future, mankind vs. itself. | |

| Well, how about that. A metal song that's actually Satanic. | |
| Mindless Self Indulgence – Bite Your Rhymes Lyrics | 15 years ago |

The opening lyrics are: Eh, uh... One time for your mind. Uh, le-le'me tell ya' now. I'm a break it on down, and all you creative motherfuckers (all you creative motherfuckers) making all them original master pieces of shit, ya'll be slipping, dig? And that's good, (Ya'll be slippin- *unintelligible*) because sometime, my lazy ass is gonna make a living rippin' off all your shit (rip it off, rip it off) and you, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck you! |
