Evanescence – Anything For You Lyrics 15 years ago
To me this song is about loving someone who you know doesn't love you, and that need for the feeling of being loved no matter what.

This one is about the trench warfare on the western front. However it doesnt look through the perspective of one country. Because all soldiers who fought in the trenches had the same experience, whether they were British, Canadian, French, German or American.

To me, this song is about after death. The chorus

Will I find a way, will I find a place
Will you let me go in peace
Will I find a way to the other side.

Always makes me choke up everytime I listen to it.

Sabaton – Aces In Exile Lyrics 15 years ago
This song I think is brilliant. The fact that it focuses on the foreign pilots who fought for my country, from Poland, Czechoslovakia and Canada. And the end line "In our own history, never before
Was more owed to so few" was what Winston Churchill said to honour the pilots of the Royal Air Force who defended our country so bravely.

This song is about UN Peacekeeping, but to me it's more about the war in Afghanistan, "sent into battle to aid strangers in need, gain independance our forces will lead". This song gives me a sense of pride everytime I listen to it.

Manowar – I Believe Lyrics 15 years ago
When I heard this song for the first time, I was going through a really bad time in life. And to me it's about rising back up stronger and more powerful, and wanting to be there for others "for the weak of heart, I will be strong".
