Catchy Tune. Defintitely would describe Courtney's life. Especially her "Don't give a damn about anybody except herself" attitude. Which led in turn to Kurt's death, her drug and alcohol fueled acts of stupidity, and neglect fo her daughter. I imagine if Sid and Nancy were alive at that time instead of Kurt and Courtney, this is what they would be like, except Nancy Spungen couldn't sing or play a guitar. Well you don't really need to know how to sing or play to be in a punk band, do you? LMAO Anyways, not dissin punk. Just sayin punk is for everyone, not just pretentious bastards. Indeed. Even if she didn't have him killed, she was riding his success and using him so much to fuel her own habits and delusions of grandeur that it was one of the contributing factors to his death. Her future would've been brighter if she was a more supportive wife and mother. He contributed to her album Live through this, and it was the only album she did that sold relatively well. Frances Bean would've gotten to know her father, and maybe carried on his musical heritage?? Probably not, he never would've wanted her to. "Be her own person", he would've told her. Always punk at heart, he hated conformity. Anyways, enough of my rant. Hello to all of those true Nirvana fans out there, may Grunge never die. |
