i would say this song is about a girl who seems like shes held in her emotions until she met this guy, or werewolf..whichever you presume. she's referring to her emotions as the beast in her. it seems like he leaves her a lot or maybe hurts her (as in emotionally), so shes angry. on the other hand, she seems to have such a deep passion for him that she will do whatever it takes to hunt him down and make him hers. as far as the lines "A man who's pure of heart and says his prayers by night; May still become a wolf when the autumn moon is bright"...i don't think she's literally refering to him as a werewolf. i think shes saying he appears to be a good guy, but perhaps behind closed doors he is not quite what he appears? |
