| I totally agree with you about pretty much EVERYTHING you just said. I think this whole song is about him getting over a girl, and wanting to change because he sat around for months contemplating everything that went wrong. So he knows everything he did wrong, and he wants to change that so he can have a better relationship with the next girl. | |

I always thought that the first few lines in this song, was talking about "mourning" not MORNING. It sounds like he meant that he didn't want to be with anyone, and he just wanted to be alone wallowing in misery. As harsh as that sounds, that's my interpretation. |
