This song to me is about someone (most likely a girl because you girls are CRAZY! with your feelings) who is so plagued by their past relationship(s) that those insecurities have ruined what could have been the best relationship in your life. How do I know this? Because I just got out of a relationship that was 100% effort on my part and 0% effort on her part. She sold a broken dream, and she was the one who broke the dream. I stood through all of the crap, all of the issues all of the uncertainty only to get cheated on basically. So this song means a lot to me and the lyrics fit like a glove for the situation that happened to me. Who gave you all those scars? And took away your innocence You push away with everything you are This is perfect because her past relationship was what ruined our relationship and I want to know who gave her all those scars that took away her innocence. I wanted to change her life for the better but now she pushes away with everything she is |

I think this songs about a person whos endured a tough relationship and they'll do anything to either get back to the way things were, or just get out of it all together. They've held their feelings in for far too long and the reason for this is because they dont want their feelings to ruin the relationship theyre trying so hard to keep together. But then they let their feelings go and the relationship breaks and falls apart: (I try) I took the war inside (Then I) And pushed it out of me My sense of peace is burning Open now- I'm not falling out (I can't believe this is happening to me) And the feelings remain the same, because during the fallout, all the person can think about is what went wrong and it wont change until they get back to that better place! |

This is one of my favorite 7D songs I interpret this song as relationship driven. Guys stuck in a familiar relationship where he always feels the same. Like he gives all the effort and she has issues and walks away. "And there's something wrong When everything goes right": To me I feel this way whenever I try to build a relationship with somebody. im so open to what the particular girl im seeing wants and she either gets weirded out by that or would rather be treated like crap first and then try to work through that abusive relationship. So from my viewpoint, I see it as im doing all of the right things, yet theres something wrong when everything is going right. The base of the skeleton song title to me means that no matter what type of relationship you are in, music is always there for you. Like someone else posted, we all have a skeletal system inside our bodies, thats the basis of living. We also all have that skeleton song that gets us through the shit we have to deal with. |
