| Mathias almost had it, but I'm Finnish-American and have been teaching myself the language for a year and a half now. :) It's actually much happier- The boy tells off the mother when she snaps at Ieva, and says that he's in love with her and will do anything for her sake. :) There's no clear mention of sex; it could be implied, but he isn't going to cheat on her. This song was written in the 1940's, and Finns are reserved enough about sex as it is- something like that wouldn't be mentioned in this piece. | |
