dodo means ''sleep'' But depending on the context, it might also mean bedtime. Or it is a nickname for ''dominique' or ''dora'' or any name that starts by ''do'' since ''petite '' dodo means ''little (feminine) , it is not a good syntax, it might be plausible |

I'm french speaker, so i'll help out :). La fille danse: (here, fille means Girl, but it is an understatement that it is a young girl.) Quand elle joue avec moi (when she plays with me) Et je pense que je l'aime des fois (and i think, i love (or like. There is no distinction between ''love'' and ''like'' in french. it's simply ''aimer'') it , sometimes Le silence, n'ose pas dis-donc (the silence, do not dare (dis-donc is a french ''slang'' expression. It has multiple meanings depending on the context. Here, it does not change anything. so you could just elude it for analyse.) Quand on est ensemble (when we're together) Mettre les mots (put (the) words) Sur la petite dodo (on the little (small) (dodo here means ''sleep''. You say it to young children. like: ''bedtime''. French say: c'est l'heure du dodo.) Also, here, little (petite) is ''feminine''. yes we have gender for every single thing in french. |
