You're trying to teach a lesson... which is kind... however, you were just a lil' too condescending, am I right? Learn correct grammar??? It's the same I - vi - IV - V chord progression used in the majority of the tunes you'll hear on the radio. Great progression, sounds beautiful and connected to the human ear, but way too overused, as boff-boff was trying to point out. Anyways, I believe that this song has multiple meanings (just like every other), but one of them is definitely the ailing America theory that some people have already proposed. Beautiful song. |
