i definitely think it is about anticipating sex and the feelings that come along with that anticipation. the first stanza sets up the situation. obviously they are being watched, so it isn't like they can engage in any sexual activity at the moment so they must wait. and being a boy, the singers mind goes straight to the anticipated sex. Soft lips are open Knuckles are pale Feels like you're dying You're dying -admiring his partner and the longing for sex is great it feels like he is going to die. You Your sex is on fire Consumed With what's to transpire -stating the obvious sex appeal of partner and how is consumed with the anticipated sex Hot as a fever Rattling bones I can just taste it Taste it -he knows that they are going to get hot as a fever and rattle some bones (aka have sex) and is anticipating the act If it's not forever If it's just tonight Oh, it's still the greatest The greatest The greatest -even though the sex might not last forever and it might be the last time he sees the girl; sex is amazing nevertheless |

| My Chemical Romance – I Don't Love You (Like I Did Yesterday) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| i feel like this song is about a person involved in a relationship leaving the his/her lover because they have changed for the worse. The singer is mad about his lover leaving, but can't give up whatever changed him or change back to who he was, so he resorts trying to convince himself he doesn't need his lover and telling them to get out. The singer is obviously hurt deeply and trying to deal with conflicting emotions. | |
