No, she went to South Eugene High School in Eugene, OR. That's my old high school too. We're the South Eugene Axemen and our colors are purple and white. One small thing I noticed -- this high school is in the more privileged part of town and the majority of the students are white. It seems like she's mocking how "alternative" a lot of the students see themselves to be, when they're just a bunch of over-privileged white kids, such as in the lines "Hey look around there's so much white" and "the punk white privilege scene." |
